MPACE Partnership Opportunity

(Macmillan Preston Area Community Engagement EOI)

Expression of Interest to be a MPACE Delivery Partner

What is MPACE?

Lancashire BME Network (LBN) are at the beginning of delivering our 3-year project–Macmillan Preston Area Community Engagement (MPACE). This project is a community-based project that has been co-designed with input from the grassroots organisations that work at the heart of the community.

What are the aims and objectives of MPACE?

The aims/objectives of MPACE are to bring about both system and behaviour change in both the community and Macmillan. The project can only bring about these changes if the system allows a collaboration that considers the barriers facing both parties. Through raising the awareness of what services are available via a trusted partner (delivery partners) the project has the basis to begin the conversation.

What are we looking for?

Preston based community groups / organisations who meet the following criteria:

– Must be working with Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities.
– Experience in community engagement and community development
– Passionate about reducing health inequalities.
– Experience of building, collaborating and partnership working
